Saying Good Bye
Last week we said farewell to one of our Rottweilers, Merce was born on a puppies farm on August 8, 2000 and left her body on March 30, 2008. Her departure was not expected and was very traumatic for all of us especially for my daughter who was alone with Merce at the time.
Merce was rescued at the age of six months she weighed 27 pounds and was very underdeveloped. We loved her into a healthy body and with the exceptions of joint aches and pains she was healthy. She was always so excited to see us no matter how many times you left the house and came back she would get so excited that she would cry and shake her tail (nubby) so hard her whole body would shake. Her trick that she did with such pride was to sit up on her butt and cross her front paws and very slowly stick her tongue out. She was our protector but mostly of my daughter. She has a tough growl but she had an appreciation for us and anyone else that would give her a good scratching.
There are no words that can express how much we will miss Merce or how grateful we are that we had to opportunity to have her as part of our family for the past eight years. Farewell my friend.

Enjoy the pictures of Merce with her family
Merce is on the left Rada is on the right it is amazing how much they mean to us.

If your pet is on the drug Mobic make sure your pet is on something to protect their stomach. The drug Mobic is given for arthritis it caused Merce to have an ulcer that ruptured and she bleed internally. I would never want another family to be so horribly effected by something that is so easily prevented.
